The packaging for the ionator HOM had to communicate the brand essence and product benefits, but also had to assist in creating the category called “chemical-free cleaning technology.” Achieving all three objectives required an integrated mix of photography, illustration, and copy with the copy focused on explaining not only how the technology works, but also the practical uses for a something no one had ever thought about.
St. Anthony New Brighton Video Script
The St. Anthony/New Brighton school district needed to explain to voters why a property tax increase was necessary to renovate its high school–despite the district having some of the highest test scores in the state of Minnesota. The script for the referendum video focused on the district’s essence offering a private school education in a public school setting. The narrative consisted of a significant number of “voices of the community.”
Odyssey Marine Exploration Direct Mail
While the Odyssey Marine Exploration company is about selling coins, the direct marketing for Odyssey Marine requires a highly visual, creative narrative that paints a picture in the reader’s mind of what it was like for the principals of Odyssey Marine to actually recover the historical coins from shipwrecks. The more the reader can “become” an explorer aboard the Odyssey ship, the higher the sales from the promotional piece.
T20 Product Introduction
Tennant Company manufactures products that are virtually commodities: large machines that sweep and scrub floors. While the company develops proprietary technology to make the machines perform better than competitors’, the true differentiator for the machines is the understanding of the benefits relative to specific markets and how those benefits are expressed. The copy for the T20 product introduction was derived from extremely insightful, highly sophisticated benefit maps that elevated the value of the machines from mere commodities to machines that do the exact right job for the exact environment targeted.
Edina Partners for Early Education Website
The new website for the niche organization, Edina Partners for Early Education (EPEE), needed to speak to two distinct audiences: new parents needing early education guidance as well as business and civic leaders being tapped to fund the non-profit organization. This called for a deft mix of mission-based copy combined with playful, energizing copy – both types working hard to persuade site visitors of the value of the organization to the community.
Disney Princess for Target
When Target Stores decided to promote a new Disney Princess movie, they required in-store promotional copy that spoke to Target guests while also speaking the unique, magical voice of the Disney brand.
“ecH2O – How It Works” turns a complex piece of physics into an easy-to-understand user benefit. Our writing team interviewed several scientists, engineers and Ph.D. researchers to divine the best path to explain a discovery they made which constituted a disruptive technology once it was deployed in the marketplace. Ech2O, or “eco-water” as it is often referred to, does away with most common chemicals and detergents used in large-scale commercial floor cleaning. The truth about ec-H2O technology is simple. This innovative technology electrically converts water into an innovative cleaning solution that cleans effectively, saves money, improves safety, and reduces environmental impact.
